We are very excited about the 2016 Wairarapa Garden tour that takes place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th November. This is a self-drive event.
We have included sixteen wonderful gardens in the South Wairarapa, located in Featherston, Martinborough, Ponatahi and Greytown. There is a wide range of gardens, from small cottage and town gardens, large country estates, lovely farm gardens, and a beautiful parkland garden. We have twelve new gardens and four very popular gardens are returning from our 2014 tour, some of which have been furthered developed so there will be new features to view. Details on each of our gardens will be progressively added to this website during August.
Please note if you are buying your ticket online you will be sent an acknowledgment of the ticket purchase via email with your ticket and guide book being posted to you three before the event.
The normal priced tickets of $45.00 will go on sale from 27th September. If you do not wish to buy your ticket online there are some other alternative opportunities to purchase tickets. Go to our tickets page here for details or if you have any questions please contact the organiser, John Gilberthorpe on 06 304 9698 or email us on email@example.com
All funds raised from this event go towards the conservation work we undertake at Pukaha Mount Bruce National Wildlife Centre. As we would love our supporters to see and experience the magnificent Pukaha Mount Bruce we have included as a special bonus with your garden tour ticket an adult admission to Pukaha Mount Bruce to be redeemed before 31 January 2017.
The popular Mara Manu garden will feature again in the 2016 tour
This garden in Martinborough, which has not featured before in our tour, will delight our tour visitors
