The GardenSituated at the head of a valley surrounded by rock cliffs, this large 16 year old picturesque, tranquil garden is created on natural undulating boulder strewn farmland, with expansive lawns and walking tracks.
Rest full seating is strategically placed to view vistas of beautiful flowers, and a collection of many rare trees, weeping trees and shrubs with exotic bark features, plus Rhododendrons, Camellias, and Azaleas.
Because we planted specifically to encourage bird life, you can leisurely stroll through our garden and naturally listen to a symphony of birdsong, plus, we also have a large sunken garden planted with many interesting seasonal plants on show all year around, and during April and May our garden features an amazing array of autumn colours for you to view.
A cascading water-fall joins two large ponds. An island of natural native wetland plants enhances the top pond, the lower pond is planted with various Irises plus other water loving plants, and has its own island, resembling Stewart Island, and so named.
An old fashioned fruit orchard, vegetable and herb garden supplies the home with produce all year around.
A visit to this garden will leave you feeling rejuvenated and has something to see all year round as each season has its own charm, it opens your eyes to beauty through the love of nature.

We have 3 grown-up children, 5 grand-children all over-seas whom are missed dearly.
We look forward to your visit and, Stu doesn't mind if you bring your own lawn-mower.
Above all else as hosts, we love to show you around our garden to embrace our amazing creation, and have the joy of your company.
To finish:- with a random exert from our visitors book, "Absolute paradise, what a lovely place to live, so peaceful and calming, can I move in?". signed Dale C..... Dorset, England.
