We have great pleasure in welcoming you to the 15th Taranaki Fringe Garden Festival. This is one of New Zealand’s friendliest garden festivals and we pride ourselves on the variety of plants we can grow in Taranaki. We offer a unique and friendly experience that will inspire and motivate our visitors to take their gardening skills to a new level. All festival gardens have been assessed by an independent committee to ensure they meet our high standard. We hope you enjoy your time in this beautiful part of the country.

Garden sizes vary from smaller town gardens to expansive country settings.
Garden entry is $2 per person payable at each garden. Children under 12 are free.
Have all been delivered to most i sites and large garden centers. Please send an email if you are unable to locate a copy. Alternatively you may view the garden details on our website and their is the option on our website to download a copy of our brochure.
There is parking available at or near to all of the gardens in our festival. If you are bring a large coach or vehicle please check with the applicable garden owner first, their contact details will be available on our website and in the brochure.
Some of our private and public gardens have toilet facilities available, please check the key in the individual garden listings to see which gardens this applies to.
Please check the key in the individual garden listings to see whether food is available. Some gardens offer complimentary tea/coffee.
There are many cafe's and restaurants in the Taranaki region to choose from.
You are welcome to bring a rug and picnic to our gardens.

Other than disability assist dogs, dogs are not permitted in the private gardens.
Children are allowed at the festival - all children 12 years and under are free with a paying adult.
Surprises galore await visitors who explore our vintage trail. Walk among Taranaki’s heritage and see how people lived, and what machinery they used. Ride on a locomotive along a historic stretch of railway dating back over 140 years.
